Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful, straight teeth you have always wanted – without the use of metal brackets and wires. A complimentary consultation with Dr. Kirk Cohil, in our Apopka office, can help determine if Invisalign therapy is right for you.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell your wearing. So, you can smile more during your treatment, as well as after. They are easily removed, to allow you to eat, drink, and clean your teeth normally, without creating disruptions in your everyday lifestyle.
Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven very effective. Results are virtually determined, even prior to treatment starting, through their sophisticated technology.
Why Would I Want Invisalign?
Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want throughout treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are comfortable, with no metal and wires causing mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in our Apopka dentist office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how straight teeth will look when treatment is complete.
How Does Invisalign Work?
You will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next set of aligners in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straighten to their final, anticipated position. You will visit our Apopka office approximately every six weeks to monitor progress and ensure everything is moving as planned. Total treatment time may be as little as six months or up to 18 months. The number of aligners worn varies from case to case, depending on the patient’s unique situation that needs to be corrected.
