relaxAre you among thousands suffering from dental anxiety? You are not alone! Your dental anxiety may stem from a bad dental experience, problems getting numb, fear of shots or drills, or just the fear of pain. Regardless of the source of apprehension, we can help.

When you come in for a consultation, you find that Dr. Cohil and the entire team are very warm and understanding. We will take the time to discuss your specific fears and concerns with you, to make sure that they are addressed. Together with you, we will come up with the best plan tailored for your specific needs, concerns, or requests.

A few things we do To Help Reduce Your Anxiety:

Soothing Atmosphere with Amenities to Help you Relax- You will have a personal monitor, sound system, headphones, and massaging chair. Pillows and blankets are available for your comfort upon request. If you prefer to bring your own DVD movies or music, you are welcome to do so. Light-blocking glasses are also available for those who hate the glare of the bright lights beaming above.

Conscious Sedation- We offer two safe and effective methods to help make your appointment be stress-free. The first option is a pill to help minimally sedate you during dental treatment. You breathe, swallow, and are in control; however, your fears and anxieties are significantly reduced. Transportation by a friend or family member is necessary.

The second option is Nitrous Oxide Sedation (Laughing Gas). You feel a “floating” sensation throughout the procedure. The recovery period is short and you can drive home on your own.

Both methods allow you to feel a strong sense of relaxation, calm, and well-being.

Low Stress Atmosphere– You will get full personal attention and pampering. We allocate sufficient time for each of our patients so there will be no hectic rushing through your procedure.
